Year 8 Program

Year 7 and 8 students study a range of core subjects. As part of our comprehensive language program, Year 7 students are placed in a language, either   French or Japanese, based on the language studied in Primary school or spoken at home. This language study is continued throughout Year 8 also.

Peer Support

The Peer Support program not only strengthens the student welfare structure in the College but also provides significant personal growth for those students.

A group of Year 8 students are trained each year as Peer Helpers by the Student Welfare team and our Chaplain. These students are trained to be "friends" to their peers. They are there to be proactive in instilling support and friendship.

BSC A Capella group 'Minitonic'
Minitonic performed at the Inner South East Partnerships Assembly for the Department of Planning and Development in August. They performed with so much professionalism and poise, and as a result, have been invited by the Mayor to perform at the next Citizenship Ceremony in October.  This is a huge honor and we are very proud of the group and their voice teacher Ms Bradsworth!
